Updates to Alert Logic

Updated on Nov 1, 2025

Based on user feedback, we have updated our alerting logic to reduce notification noise and provide more meaningful alerts.

Contents

Previous Behavior

Previously, an alert was sent whenever a scan fell below the specified thresholds. This caused significant inbox noise for sites whose scores were hovering around the threshold and occasionally dipped below it during individual scans. Instances like that are effectively a false alarm.

New Behavior

To reduce noise and provide more actionable alerts, the new system only triggers an alert when 3 out of the last 4 scans fail the thresholds. This ensures you only receive warnings when your site is consistently performing below your set standards over a longer period, rather than for one-off dips in performance.

What This Means for You

  • Fewer false alarms from temporary performance dips
  • More meaningful alerts that indicate genuine performance issues
  • Better focus on sites that need actual attention

No changes are required in your account. This update has automatically rolled out to all users today.
